What is WEEC?

World Environmental Education Congress – WEEC – is an international congress addressing education for environment and sustainable development. WEEC 2019 is the 10th congress and will take place November 3-7, 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand.


Who Should Come?

The congress is an international meeting point for everyone working with education for environment and sustainable development, including  operation staff and executive of environmental safety, environmental CSR from corporates or which have an interest in the field.

WEEC 2019 is as such an opportunity to learn more about the latest in environmental and sustainability education, to discuss with people from all over the world, to share your own work and to learn from others. We are expecting participants from a wide range of countries. All researchers, educators, students, decision-makers, NGOs or media working with or having an interest in education for environment and sustainable development are Welcome!

The congress will discuss the role and importance of education for environment and sustainability,or even a life-long learning on environmental practical cares in daily life at all levels; both in higher education and for lower ages.

And this time, WEEC2019 aims to bring all Local Knowledge from around the world to communicate and share to each other in order to connect globally; America, Africa, Europe and Asia-Pacific!

Furthermore, not only two main categories of abstracts can be submitted: academic abstracts and practitioner abstracts which could be a description of a teaching model sample, but also other types/formats of abstract such as MV, novel, short fiction, stage performance, game and interactive activities involving and representing to environmental education and sustainability are accepted.
